Can Temporary Cover be used to recover an impounded vehicle?
No. Temporary cover cannot replace annual motor insurance and all temporary cover certificates are marked to show that they cannot be used as evidence of cover for the retrieval of impounded vehicles.

Can I get immediate insurance cover?
Yes. Purchase online and your cover can begin the moment that the online purchase is complete. You get to select the start and end date yourself (start date cannot be prior to the purchasing of the insurance).

Can I cancel the policy?
Yes. The policy may be cancelled at any time by submitting a cancellation notice to More Th>n in writing, along with the motor insurance certificate. Fees paid for temporary cover may not be refundable due to the short-term nature of the policy.

What is the most expensive vehicle, which I can insure?
There is no limit. However, the maximum indemnity limit for loss or damage is £40,000.

Can I insure a foreign visitor?
Yes. A foreign visitor can be covered if they have a full driver's licence that complies with the eligibility criteria. At this time, More Th>n is unable to cover those visiting from the USA, Canada, or Australia.

Am I insured to drive abroad?
Yes. Temporary insurance from More Th>n does provide the minimum legal cover required in EU countries.

Can temporary cover by extended beyond 28 days?
No.

Can I arrange cover for a date in the past or future?
You are able to arrange for cover up to 30 days in advance, by simply specifying the dates on your online application. However, once your details are committed, they cannot be changed.
